“Wizkid’s Essence song deserves to win song of the year at the Grammys” – Joe Budden and Nicki Minaj (Video)
Award-Winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid has been tipped to win the song of the year at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony that will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3, 2022.
Recall Wizkid who alongside, Rihanna, Blue Ivy won the best music video for “Brown Skin Girl” in 2021 Grammy awards bags once again bags two Grammy nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards.
Wizkid gets nominated for Best Global Music Performance for his song “Essence” featuring Tems and his album “Made In Lagos” nominated for Best Global Music Album.
During a recent conversation between American rappers, Joe Budden disclosed that everyone knowns that Wizkid hit song “Essence” deserves to win the Grammy best song of the year and Nicki Minaj confirms it nothing that Black people needs to have their own Grammy as well.
