Celebrated Nigerian singer, Davido, recently shared a heartwarming moment as he celebrated the promotion of his personal police escort, Bawo, to the rank of inspector.

The Nigerian Police Force had announced the promotion of 90 officers to higher ranks, and Bawo was among those who received this well-deserved recognition.
In a video that surfaced online, Davido could be seen expressing his joy and celebrating with Bawo.
In the video, Davido was captured affixing a new badge onto the uniform of the stoic-looking officer, symbolizing his new rank.
The singer then extended his congratulations with a warm handshake, visibly proud of his personal police escort’s achievement.
“Congratulations on your promotion to Inspector of the Nigeria Police Force,” OBO remarked as he pinned the badge on his vest.
Bawo, in appreciation, took to his own social media page to express his gratitude to Davido for the recognition and support.
The personal connection and camaraderie between the singer and his police escort were evident, highlighting a positive relationship between the two.
“Thank you my Good Boss @davido for the decoration of my new rank. For the love you’ve always been showing me I can’t pay you but I pledge to be faithful, LOYAL and honest. May God keep protecting and blessing you for us, Amen,” he wrote.
