Nigerian famous singer, Davido while on podcast show, Bounce Radio hosted by media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu disclosed how grateful he is to singer, Tekno.

Recall Davido‘s hit song “If” released in the year 2017 with over 147million views on YouTube was written and produced by singer Tekno.

Speaking on how grateful he is to Tekno, Davido disclosed how Tekno brought him back to limelight when he didn’t have a hit for almost a year.

Speaking to Ebuka on how the “If” song happened, Davido said that he was in the club having fun as a baller that he used to be when Tekno told him that he has a song for him, noting that the singer came to drag him one day at club Quillox as he concluded that he has never seen someone like that before willingly to give him song.

He further asserted that the whole song was written and recorded by Tekno and there is also Tekno version of the song.

During the podcast, Ebuka asked Davido that why is it him that Tekno wants on the song, Davido replied that it is because he has been a good guy.

Davido concluded that after Tekno drag him to his house, he recorded the song then the next day he called him and affirmed that the song will be a hit and by extension it comes out to be a massive hit that gained recognition by music lovers across the world.
